The SBDC at Daytona State College is a member of the Florida SBDC Network, a statewide service network funded in part through a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA).

As a subcenter of the SBDC at UCF, the SBDC at Daytona State College has been actively serving the entrepreneurs of Volusia and Flagler Counties since 1992.

This eight week course is designed to ensure business success for emerging entrepreneurs and provides a comprehensive process that develops a business plan with distinct competitive advantages. Developed by Palo Alto Software, the course includes books "The Art of the Start", "3 Weeks to Startup" and "The Plan-As-You-Go Business Plan" and also includes the "Business Plan Pro" softwawre as well as online learning. Weekly topics include: Kick Start and Business Basics Marketing Strategy Getting Financed Building a Team The Web Cash and Taxes Plans and Pitches Classes begin on Tuesday, February 1, 2011 and run through March 29, 2011 (no class on March 15) from 6-8 pm.
