The Small Business Development Center at UNF has assisted thousands of potential and existing business owners by providing the management advice, training and information they need to start, grow, and profit.
This experience and knowledge can be utilized by nonprofits to help their organizations manage more efficiently, find funding, and create more awareness. By learning the methods a small business may use, nonprofits can grow and prosper.
All classes will be facilitated by qualified instructors from the SBDC at UNF, public sector organizations, and other experts in their field.
These knowledgeable instructors are well versed and have experience working in the nonprofit sector. They will share insight and information on topics crucial to the success of any nonprofit organization.
Each workshop is $50. Purchase four or more workshops in the NONPROFIT series the cost is only $40 per workshop.
There are four steps to successful fundraising - plan, plan, plan, ask. This workshop will take you through the process of planning for a successful fundraising campaign. Based upon Feasibility Study findings, you can develop a comprehensive strategy that focuses on: What you are raising funds for (specific details, including an expense budget); Who will be leading this effort (securing credible leadership with the integrity, affluence and influence to raise funds); When the campaign starts and finishes (timing is critical); Where the financial support will come from (individuals, foundations, corporations, public sector investors); How Much you expect to raise (this also determines how much you ask from each prospective investor); and How (the specific details that are unique to each organization and campaign).
