Consumers have experienced "cabin fever" during the recession and are now attending events in record numbers. This is true with community events such as last weekends Home Show and Business Expo in New Smyrna Beach with over 5,000 attendees, educational programs, markets- Farmer's, French or Flea, and retail sales events.
Businesses that recognize this welcome trend are looking at their promotion strategies and either developing events or joining large scheduled public events.
